Wiz by Phillips gives you so much more customization. I messed up and bought the wrong bulb and regret it.
Had problems with being logged out over and over. Doesnt happen as much now. So thats nice.
Works fine, stand alone. With Alexa, i had both my thermostat and an outdoor dual outlet set up and communicating between Cync and Alexa. Then suddenly the dual outlet was gone from Alexa. Tried troubleshooting myself, then with tech support from GE/ Cync. Got to the point where they wanted to delete the app and all its data and rebuild from scratch. My thermostat had been working with Alexa all along, so i refused to mess with that configuration. I will be switching to another brand.
I have already had to redo or reset the dimmer switch I use three times! Edit: I know how to get it running again. You pull out the air gap switch, wait a few seconds and then reset it up. But every update for either my router or your software the mac address changes for the device and Alexa no longer recognizes it. If you want a 5 star review answer this question with out an auto response...
Not good, I have my scenes set up, the light was supposed to turn off at 10 and on at 1400 guess what wasn't on thats right my lights. I check the app and it's just got it set to off dor no reason. So I have to go in and manually turn the scene back on when it does this. Kinda defeats the purpose of a light schedule if it doesn't even turn on. Also when midnight hits during the scene it automatically turns my light off every time so I had to make a new scene just to turn it back on after 00:00.
I used to like this app and camera a lot, but now it spends more time offline than actually recording anything. Seriously reconsidering my cloud subscription.
